​What goes on BASE fam? I’m an Electrical Engineering major entering my final year at SJSU. I have been part of the executive board for the last three years and it is my first as your President. I would like to work in the audio component industry after college and one day start my own company within it. My interests include sports, music, writing, tech, and kicking it with friends and family.

I'm Jerusalem Darkera, a graduating senior studying Biomedical Engineering at San Jose State University. I am currently interning in the hardware innovation group at Jabil Circuits Inc. Upon graduation, I plan to work in the medical device industry particularly regulatory affairs and later pursue a dual graduate degree in engineering & MBA. I've also been priveledged to become a leader on my campus. I am VP of our NSBE chapter, a member of Tau Beta Pi & BMES. Through my extracurricular activities, I advocate STEM education and careers amongst the youth in particular the African-American community.
